Milk Chocolate Cookie Butter Surprise

Milk Chocolate Cookie Butter Surprise is my go to recipe when I need a quick, rich, dessert!

For those of you who are part of the cookie butter cult, you know just how addictive cookie butter can be!

For the novice, let me explain the level of greatness happening with this cookie butter.

It's ground up cookies, imagine, taking a bag of cookies and grounding them into a paste, then adding more butter and vanilla to the already rich cookies.

I know, pure deliciousness!

This desert goes together in a matter of minutes, it's food magic!

Melt milk chocolate in the microwave in 20 seconds increments, mixing between each until chocolate is melted. Add the melted chocolate to a jar of cookie butter. Yes, a whole jar of cookie butter.

Secondly, take the cookie butter/chocolate mixture and fold in a whole container of whipped creme topping. I told you it was going to be rich!

Finally, and for the "surprise" we mentioned above, take a container of butter cookies and crumble them. Now it's time to assemble so we can eat.

I like to layer the dessert. I place buttered cookies on the bottom, top with milk chocolate cookie butter mousse, top with more whipped creme topping and repeat, ending with extra butter cookies on top.

Chill for about 30 minutes if you can wait that long!

They taste magically delicious!
