Quick, Sweet, and Savory Sloppy Joes and a Kyvan Foods Giveaway!

I love Sloppy Joes, who doesn't, and I am not talking about those sandwiches we grew up eating in the school cafeteria that tasted like sugar and tomato sauce.


No sirree bob! I am talking about a Sloppy Joe that is so full of flavor, kids and adults both love it!


These Sloppy Joes go together so quickly and are so flavorful thanks to Kyvan's Sweet Barbeque Sauce!


Grab some chips and it's time to eat people! Oh...don't forget the napkins!

Quick Sweet and Savory Sloppy Joes and a Kyvan Foods Giveaway!

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 4-6

Ingredients:

1 lb ground turkey
1 bottle Kyvan's Sweet Barbeque Sauce
1 bell pepper, diced
1 white onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup tomato sauce
6 ounces tomato, paste
1 tablespoon creole seasonings
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons black pepper
extra virgin olive oil
1 pack Hawaiian rolls 

Directions:

Mix seasoning blend together and set aside.

Add about 2 tablespoons of olive oil to pan over medium heat, add bell pepper and onions, saute 5 minutes, season with 1 tablespoon of seasoning blend, add garlic, cook 1 minute more.

Add ground turkey, season with 2 tablespoons of spice blend, mix well, cook 10 minutes, breaking up meat to brown evenly.

Add tomato paste and mix well, cook 4 minutes, add tomato sauce, and bottle of barbeque sauce, add remaining seasonings.

Mix well, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer about 10 minutes.

Serve on Hawaiian rolls and enjoy!
