Slow Cooker Sunday!
I am so excited about today's post! First off, I love a hot sandwich, especially when it's filled with lots of cheese, pickles, and spicy mustard.
Secondly, I love a juicy sandwich, and that's what you get with my Slow Cooker Pastrami Sandwiches.
I am truly enjoying my Crock-Pot Slow Cooker and I love our new Slow Cooker Sunday Segment on the blog!
I thought it would be difficult for me to think of recipes for Slow Cooker Sunday, but it's been so much fun.
I have recipes lined up months in advance, so make sure you check in every Sunday to see what's new!
If you noticed I don't have many pictures of the prep work, because there isn't any.
You just take the pastrami and toss it in the slow cooker, add some broth and the slow cooker does the rest of the work for ya!
I must EAT it while it's HOT!!!

Oh my, that sandwich piled with goodness looks fantastic! I can only imagine how good it tastes.
ReplyDeleteThanks Maureen, it was beyond delicious...as soon as the temperature rises above 30 degrees...I will be making the pastrami from scratch...and if I am going to smoke some meat, might as well smoke some roast beef too...can't wait...recipes coming soon....!
ReplyDeletecould you add onions to the slow cooker?
ReplyDeleteYes Tye, you can saute the onion in a little oil in a separate pan then add them or you can add them raw and allow them to cook down with the broth and meat....I wanted to add onions but my husband had a hissy fit...said I am turning it into a cheese steak...lol
