Hot Wing Dip

Dip TIME!

It's dip time people! Yep, I am on a dip craze again. I could eat dip for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so when it's time to create some new dip recipes, I always look at what I have cooked for dinner, and turn it into a dip.

My hot wings are off the chain, and so is my spicy blue cheese sauce. Although I was out of gorgonzola cheese, I would not be caught without my Kens blue cheese salad dressing.

And you already know, how much I love salads. Both of these recipes are my motivation for this wonderful dip.

The key to this recipe is excellent blue cheese salad dressing and jalapeno oil. I used both and this dip turned out fantastic.

I served the Hot Wing Dip with sliced baguettes, crackers and tortilla chips. Time to EAT!

Hot Wing Dip

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour
Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes
Servings: 4-6

Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless, chicken breast
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon creole seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
4 tablespoon Jalapeno Oil

For the Dip Sauce:

1 8oz. package Philadelphia cream cheese, room temperature, softened
3/4 cup Tabasco hot sauce
1 cup jack cheese, grated
1 cup Kens blue cheese salad dressing
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon creole seasoning
crackers, chips, bread for serving

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place rinsed and dried chicken breast on a baking sheet. Coat chicken in jalapeno oil on both sides. Mix seasoning blend and coat both sides of chicken with spices. Bake chicken at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. Remove chicken from oven and allow to cool. Shred chicken with two forks and set aside.

To prepare dip heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl add hot sauce, cream cheese, jack cheese, blue cheese and seasonings, mix well. Fold in chicken and mix well. Place all ingredients in a casserole dish that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake dip for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, stir and serve.
