Quick Smoked Salmon Spread

Famous Memories!

I am not sure how many of you have ever eaten at Famous Dave's Barbeque House? Well if you haven't you need to locate the closest location and go there today! My family and I have eaten there so many times, all the staff knew us by name.

We ate there two to three times a week, every week for years. Yes, people, years. During my Famous Dave's addiction I was rarely if ever eating meat, so that left me with limited choices from Famous Dave's.

My number one item to eat every time I went besides all the wonderful side dishes they make was this beautiful, smokey, salmon spread, served with a side of toasted pita bread.

This spread is delicious, it had to be for me to eat it twice a week for years. The only issues with the spread at Famous Dave's is I never bothered to ask what was in it. All I did was eat it, and eat it some more.

I decided to recreate the spread to the best of my ability, and it turned out delicious as well. I wanted it smokey and creamy and I got both. I hope you enjoy this dip as much as I have.

    1. Thank you Curt, it is a great recipe, it's the perfect amount of smoke and the lemon gives it a nice bite. If you like a little heat, a few drops of Tabasco hot sauce would be nice.
